In the blog post, modder idolninja likens the package to "essentially a full sdk". Jeff Thompson, the studio's Director of Programming and Senior Programmer Mike Wilson will be working together with some of the game's most enthusiastic modders to release "documentation, file formats, tools, and more" for Saints Row: The Third. The studio is also looking into old Saints Row 2 documentation to see what they can release for the PC's first outing with the saints. He claims the release will be a "test run" for releasing an SDK for Saints Row 4.
